Mrs. Annie D. Harris “Ann Dell”, was born July 8, 1937 in Rome Georgia.  She went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 9, 2023.  She confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined The New Jerusalem Baptist Church where she served as a passionate praise worship leader and choir director. She met and married Mr. Anthony Harris in Georgia and the couple relocated to Dayton Ohio. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She retired from Stock Yard’s Inn of 30+ years of service where she created new and unique recipes as a Pastry Chef.  She was welcoming and pleasant to be around, had a great sense of humor, a loving personality and was always available to offer a helping hand.  She was a great listener, easy to talk to about anything and provided great advise.  She enjoyed gospel music, family gatherings and watching Lifetime, westerns or horror movies.  She also enjoyed watching Professional NBA and NFL games.  Her favorite NFL team was the Cincinnati Bengals.  Annie our “Momma / Granny”, was a blessing to our family! And to know her was to love her.  She will forever be missed by family and friends.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Harris, both parents Ray and Clara Grier, children Elaine Harris, Larry Grier and Michael Ramey.  Sisters Barbara Bostick, Martha Buggs and Polly Sue Grier, Brothers Robert and Rafus Grier.

She leaves to cherish her memory of loving daughters, Karen Williams (Joe Dixon), Judy Harris, Anita Harris (Mark Landers), sister in law   Doris Harris, and daughter in law Darlene Walker. Affectionate sons; Gary Grier (Cindy Scott), Steve & Vickie Harris, Tony Harris, Antwan and Dorian Harris. Brothers; Willie Grier and Roosevelt Grier.  Special friend Paul Williams, 32 grand-children, 46 great grand-children and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
