Annie Ruth Goggans was born on October 22, 1936 to the late Mr. Willie Baggett and Rosie Mae Baggett of Alexander City, Alabama.

She confessed Christ her Lord and Savior at a young age at Great Bethel Baptist Church.

The Lord quietly whispered her name and Annie Ruth announced, joining  her heavenly  father  on Monday, May 7,

2012 at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, Alabama.

She was proceeded  in death her husband, Olbon Goggans, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: tlrree sons, Olbon, Jr. (Mollie), Michael (April) of Alexander City,Alabama and Rodney  (Tonya)  of  Wichita  Falls,  Texas;  one brother,  Henry (Loretta) Baggett of Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Mae Lee Hardnett of New Site, Alabama;  seven  grandchildren, Felicia, Jekeisha, Anthony, Michelle,  Michael  Jr., DeAngela, and Cameron; five great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Jarzaus, Telicia, Cyrenity and Caleb; two sisters-in-law, Lula Hill of Birmingham, Alabama and Fennie (Sammy) Murray of Goodwater, Alabama;  three  brothers-in-law, Milton  (Gustine)  Goggans  of Alexander City, Alabama,Adie and Hubbard Goggans of Goodwater, Alabama. A host of aunts, uncle O'Neal Robins, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thanks to Terry and Bertha Stowes, Mary Simmon and Dwight Welch for their support  during her illness.
