This memorial website was created in memory of our beloved and dearly cherished Mom, who passed away suddenly at home on January 20, 2021. This is a space where family and friends can share their memories of Annie. We hope that you find comfort in remembering her.

We will miss you forever, Mom.

Annie Laura Terry passed away the morning of January 20, 2021 at her home in Converse, Texas at the age of 82. Cherished and adored mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Annie’s loving presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Born in Dawson, Georgia on September 3, 1938, Annie was active in the Randolph-Brooks retiree community in Converse, TX. She was an accomplished seamstress and avid quilter and member of The Happy Campers of Randolph Air Force Base quilting group.

Annie was a military spouse and traveled the world during her 54-year marriage before her beloved husband Bill’s passing in 2014. They eventually settled in Converse, TX, where she was a Special Education teaching assistant for many years in the Judson Independent School District. Her gifts of patience and loving kindness served her students well during her career.

She was a devout Christian and a member of the Randolph Air Force Base Chapel community. Annie leaves behind many friends in the military retiree community who will greatly miss her friendship.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Roy Terry; twin infant daughters Janet Terry and Janice Terry; parents Joseph and Ruby Pearman; brother Jesse James Pearman; sister Elizabeth Pearman Gardner; and brother Walter Marvin Pearman. Annie is survived by her sons Anthony J. Terry (Kathryn A.) and Brion D. Terry (Delena D.); sister Eva Jean Pearman-Reddick; brother Joseph Andrew Pearman, Jr.; grandchildren Justin D. Kalmar, Kiarra G. Flores, Jordan A. Terry, and Damian I. Pineda-Perez; and great-grandson Cayden J. Kalmar.

For the safety of her family and friends during the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation. A graveside service for immediate family and close friends will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, with interment to immediately follow. Annie will be laid to eternal rest next to her beloved husband Bill, and we imagine them together again with joy in our hearts for the reunion of their souls.

Aunt Ann will be greatly missed. I will always remember the time we visited Germany and had a wonderful vacation staying with Aunt Ann, Uncle Bill & Brion. We went on tours of Germany and France and have the best memories. Most recently Aunt Ann has called frequently to check on her "Colorado nieces" since the loss of our Mom.
I hope my cousins find comfort and healing in their good memories of their mother, she was a terrific person!

I met Annie only once but will always remember her because she is Anthony’s mom. Anthony’s character, wisdom, talent and wit had to come from someone pretty special. Love to all the Terry’s. God is dancing at Annie’s arrival!
