Annie Lee Doris Mangum Daniel, 87, a longtime resident of Granville County but lived in Durham for many years passed away March 2, 2014.

A native of Granville County the daughter of the late John Bert and Emma Judeal Arrington Mangum.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was retired from Jay Hosiery Mill in Durham.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church in Henderson by the Rev. Gene Wood and Rev. Bruce Brooks.  Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Durham.

Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Daniel Hight of Oxford, a son, Guthrie “Pee Wee” Daniel of Creedmoor, two sisters; Irene M. White of Henderson and Mary Ann Cook of Oxford, a brother, Bill Mangum of Durham, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin T. Daniel, a son, Carl Taylor Daniel and one granddaughter and two grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 647 Henderson, N.C. 27536.

Visitation will be held Wednesday Evening March 5th, 2104 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times the home.
