Her Life

Annie Mae Sewell-Morris(Mae) born on March 27, 1929 in Meriwether County, Georgia to the late Ernest and Lola Kate Clements. Mae entered into eternal rest on February 23, 2011. She was a woman of sincere faith, a bright and a most social spirit, and a loving mother, grandmother and dear friend.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late Willie Frank Sewell to this union three sons were born and she was later united in holy matrimony to James Morris who also proceeds her in death. One brother proceeds her in death, Ike Reese.

Mae was devoted to serving her children and grandchildren. Hence, in many ways, she loved life and her family and lived life to the fullest. Her daily scripture reading was Psalms 23 and praying for her children. She enjoyed spending time outside in her yard and taking care of her dog “Roxy”. She retired from William L. Bonnell Company after serving many years. Mae joined St. Paul CME Church at an early age and serviced there until her death.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Sewell (Louise), Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Sewell (Margaret) and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Sewell (Lois); five brothers, Mr. Moncellous Hunter (Gloria), Mr. Ernest Clements Jr., Mr. Willie Clements, Bishop Nelson Clements (Shirley) and Mr. James Clements (Annie Ruth); grandchildren, Kenya (Kim), Kerby (Bubba), Mandrail, Kearta (Keke), Brandon, Corey (Bushay), Precious and Timothy; nine great-grandchildren; a devoted niece Joanne and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
