A Mother's and Grandmother's Love

July 6, 2016

Annie Rene Brown was born newyears eve of 1923 to Wylie and Irene Baldwin Brown in Greenville, Georgia. She was the seventh of ten children five brothers and  four sisters. She matured into a fine young, smart, God fearing young lady who was sent away to attend  boarding school after finishing up the primary grades. As she blossomed into a young lady, she caught the eye of a handsome young man named Willie Ed. Lakes. They were married and moved to Hogansville, Georgia where togeather they produced seven boys and two girls.
Aftern many years of wedded bliss, Willie Ed. died suddenly on Christmas Day in 1969 in Hogansville, leaving her to raise her young children with the aid of her  adult children, Annie Dora and Willie James. (two sons preceded him in death: James Edward the first born and Robert LaMar the fourth born)
Mother's life changed drastically by his death. She was moved to Atlanta where a better life awaited her. She was able to work, travel, Worship and adapt to all that the big city had to offer. She lived a long and comfortable life and was sooo loved by all who met her, especially her grandchildren who thought that she set the stars and the moon in the sky just for them.
Mama, I've never been on this planet without you. I know you will continue us lead on the path of righteousness until we see you again. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
