Annie Gertrude Grady Self, 95, a former resident of 403 Sunset Avenue, died Monday, May 30th at Granville House Assisted Living.

A native of Charlotte County, VA., the widow of Marcus Self and the daughter of the late William F. and Luna Newcomb Grady. She was a member of Delrayno Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Thursday, June 2nd in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Dan Hill. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park.

Surviving are three daughters, Ester Homer(James) of Stella, Ida Morris(Woodrow) of Franklinton, Angie Rhodes(James) of Roxboro, a son, Roy E. Self(Cindy) of Dillsburg, PA., sixteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, June 2nd prior to the funeral service at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford.

Granny was a kind, gentle soul. Never heard her complain once about her life. I am one of the sixteen grandchildren.
