I never got to know Annie but my mother Gladys Simpson Heard spoke of her often. I believe she would be my Great Great Aunt. I am trying to learn more about my family roots. Ada Simpson Boyd was my beloved grandmother.

Special moments have come and gone. When you smiled it all seemed right. Don’t worry, now we're all grown. I'll miss your essence morning, noon, and night. You were always strong and always on the go, Mom, now you rest and let God's company be with you ever so

2011-12-09 15:55:38Please accept my condolences to the entire Simpson family. The loss of a loved one is always difficult but find comfort in all the warm memories shared during her time with each and everyone of you. Her legacy will live on with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am sorry that I never got to meet Mrs Simpson but the numerous anecdotes I have heard from her daughter (Mrs Joann Croom) and her grandson (Darren Harper) definitely indicated that she was a very strong and independent woman. May she rest in peace and may you all find comfort in knowing that she is resting with God.

God Bless You All!

Being one of Jehovah's Witnesses as well, we share the same hope from the bible as Ms. Simpson did. Please be comforted in knowing that we are thinking of you during this difficult time. May the God of all comfort and tender mercies continue to wipe the tears from your eyes until the time when death, sickness, and sorrow will be a thing of the past. (Revelation 21:3, 4)
