This memorial website was created in memory of our beloved mother, Annie Ybarra. We have added a lot of pictures and videos and even her favorite music that you can listen to while you look around.  (click on the speaker above)

Burial Location:
2/25/21 - Mt. View Memorial Cemetery Calexico, California

We love hearing stories about her and how she touched your lives.  We invite you to upload any pictures you might have taken with her and please write about your favorite memories of her in the "stories" section. Having these memories to come back to whenever we want will be deeply appreciated.

So go pour yourself your favorite drink, turn on the music and spend some time with our mom.  She'll be there with you as you laugh, sing, cry and dance in your seat.

God Bless
Jessy, Maricela & Liza

Mom it's been a year since you left this world and went to heaven. You are so greatly missed beyond words. How do I put into words how much of an impact you've had in my life from day one? I feel so blessed to have been raised by you and dad. You are loved by everyone that has ever met you and it's understandable why... because you are pure love. I know you are shinning your light in heaven and dancing in the clouds. I love you mom

She was so sweet. She was always making everyone laugh, and her dancing skills were bomb. I am so privileged to have known her. Most grateful that she gave me Jessy. Fly high!!!

The following 3 videos were recorded by my Auntie Yiki about her sister Annie.

She talks about her as a child and her desire to travel the world, which she indeed did!  She names several of the countries that she had visited.  She goes into my mom's love of going to the swap meet and collecting dishes, her cake decorating and her sewing.

She talks in depth about the wedding cake she made for my Uncle Chris's wedding and how she ended up missing the party because she got too tipsy and ended up passing out!  (She obviously learned from that mistake because she was known to dance and outlast all of us young & old)

In this final video my Auntie Yiki talks about my mom visiting her after she had gotten in an argument with my dad.  How much my grandma Burt adored my dad Tayo.  Her love of dancing, celebrating her birthdays and being a wonderful mother.

What a wonderful gift to hear about her through the eyes of her big sister. We will cherish these memories for many years to come!

Thank you Auntie Yiki we love you!
