This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Ansari Masood, 29 years old, born on July 21, 1951, and passed away on May 21, 1981. We will remember him forever.
It's sad to realise that you were called to your eternal abode at the peak of your life. You touched our lives and we are lucky to have known you. May you be blessed . Rest in peace my friend.
On this day let me remember my friend Zafar Masood and note what a tragedy it was that he was taken away from us at such a young age.You will always be in our thoughts. May you rest in peace. God bless ......
Zafar, my friend was a very talented actor. He was charming and beautiful. I will never forget him. May his beautiful soul rest in peace. May Allah forgive him. My friend was very righteous. The news of his death was very painful. Please remember him in your prayers.
It was a tragic news. To learn, absorb and react to the tragic death of Zafar. He was an inspiration for people like me. I miss him the most. Though we never met but his personality always did have an impact on me. I would keep praying for him forever since he is the most sophisticated, intelligent, brilliant and a complete actor I have ever seen. Allah bless you Zafar. Always.
When Zafar passed away I was only 14 ,but quite inspired by his look and personality. I am 52 now and he still lives in my memory. What a heroic look he had, sound voice and confidence of performance. May Allah rest his soul in peace and counts him in his most beloved ones, Ameen.
I can never forget Zafar, my friend and classmate in high school and college. We became friends when Ansari sahib was posted in Rahim Yar Khan around 1960 and Zafar was enrolled with us at Tameer-e-Millat high school. Those were memorable years. After graduating from high school, both of us joined Government College Lahore and remained close. From there Zafar pursued his creative interests and artistic goals and I chose a career in engineering that eventually brought me to the US. It was there that a mutual friend called me to share the tragic news. I miss him dearly. He enriched many lives.

Zafar Masood and l became friends when we both were at Government college Lahore. We first met when we both took part in a play at Govt. College. He was a decent and sincere friend. One doesn't find that kind of marvellous person these days. His tragic passing away is a great loss to us. May his soul rest in peace.
