He was born in Yankton, South Dakota on August 7th, 1990 being the eldest member of my children.  He was ten pounds with a bunch of dark thick hair and the blues eyes ever.

He attended Headstart at RST Headstart in St, Francis then from Kindergarden thru high school he was at St. Francis Indian School and Todd County School District eventually earned his high school diploma at Nemo Job Corps in Nemo, SD along with a certificate in Facilities Management.


He has one daughter, named Tatiyopa Win Makena Lei Sharpfish of Rapid City, South Dakota.  And, a living brother, Sasha Sylvester Courtney of Crookston, NE.

His father was Scotty Courtney, Sr. of Warm Springs, OR who passed away in May 2006.  And, a younger brother name Scott (Lil Scotty) Courtney, Jr. in May 1997 in Sioux Falls SD at the Children's Hospital and School.

He was living in Gregory, SD at the time of his death and was buried at St. Charles Cemetery in St. Francis, SD
