Anthony Jones was born May 30, 1964 in Long Beach, California to the proud union of Nelson and Doris Jones. In his early Years, Anthony’s family relocated from Southern California to the Bay Area where they made a home in the city of Oakland and later the city of Richmond. Anthony received the majority of his formal education within the West Contra Costa Unified School District, graduating from De Anza High School in 1982 after which he completed two years of higher education at Contra Costa Community College. In 2006, Anthony led his family in becoming “Chartering Members” of Praise Fellowship Bible Church. Part of Anthony’s legacy is that he was many things to many people including an electrician, a handyman, a landscaper, a computer technician, a cable man, a painter, a creative set designer, a carpenter, a dancer and an avid sportsmen. In his professional capacity, Anthony worked as a contracted electrician for many prominent companies including Net Electric, Tesla and Solid Personnel. Anthony departed this life on the evening of Monday, August 12, 2019 after being proceeded in death by his parents and his brother Lonnie. Anthony leaves his wife Benita Adams Jones, his children, siblings and a host of extended family members and friends to cherish the memories of his life, his legacy and his love.
