Amongst the fondest memories we have of Oman, the Gomes family has contributed in a big way, through their friendship, prayers, guidance and not to forget, the support to our son Carl in his school days. Tony, with that ever captivating smile and the kind words that he would utter, would make any person feel at ease. Despite all the challenges he faced in life, his face would always give a feeling of total serenity, a virtue for all of us to adopt. The caring ways for each other which the Couple shared, was remarkable and it was always a pleasure, to spend time in their company. We will miss his company here on earth, but hope to reunite one day, on the distant shores. Maura loved Tony, more than herself. She selflessly looked after him, despite her tough schedules. The children Ian and Ninoshka are remarkable, portraying good upbringing. Please be rest assured of our continued prayers, for this lovely God fearing family !!

Such an amazing soul! We met just twice when he was in town to visit Nin and we grew fond of each other. I grew fond of his smile and the comfort of his presence. He is so caring and loving. He would always ask about me and that meant a lot that he was able to remember me for all this time.

Our deepest condolences on your sad loss. You are always in our prayers. I feel so happy that I got to visit cousin Tony in Belgaum last November. Always smiling even through the pain. We have very precious memories of growing up with our dashing cousin when we c were young in Cavelossim. Thank you for Inviting us b to share in the mass for Tony. Take comfort that he is no longer in pain.

The Gomes' family and my family have shared very close ties for years and Tony has been a very good friend to me and my husband, Mark. In fact, whenever we met, he would always insist we stay with him. Down to earth, kind, gentle, affectionate, soft-spoken, handsome and full of life are some of the words that come to mind whenever the thought of Tony comes to mind. He was very God-fearing and would attend mass with his older brother, Joe, at the church in Cavelossim, Goa, every day. For Tony, family always came first. His family was very united and they were very protective of each other. This is something I've always admired about the Gomes' family. We were shocked to hear about Tony's sudden demise and find it so hard to believe that we won't be seeing his smiling face anymore. We will truly miss our dearest friend, Tony. May his soul rest in eternal peace. My heartfelt sympathies go out specially to his wife, Maura, daughter, Ninoshka, son, Ian and daughter-in-law, Kimberley. May God bless you all and give you the strength and courage to bear this great loss.
