Uncle, my childhood memories are filled with several priceless moments spent at yours. You treated us like your own and we felt so. I'm certain you are resting in peace. Together with the angels we shall praise the Almighty for this is the day that the Lord has made for you. Sleep well!

“TONY” as I used to call him, entered SASSE College the same year with me in 1949. We have been very close friends and I had a shock when I heard of his demise! I am now old and feeble. I am sorry I could not attend the Wake Keep, neither will I travel to Kumbo for the burial. I shall call on his wife Mary, when she returns from the burial. May his soul rest in Perfect Peace. Adieu!

Fai, Dr. Pa Maimo!

Privileged we were to share with him a short part of his life when he decided, in his retirement, to fulfil a dream and show us 'young ones' that everything was possible. He came and met us in University to pursue his PhD degree.

I've never had such inspiration like he gave us. With not a single word of complain for the conditions we found ourselves then, he found reason to always have a light word or phrase to keep our spirits up.

Pa, your passing on means a lot to the many people you touched through your very eventful life.

We thank the Lord for giving us the opportunity to share you with him.

Go now and stay permanently with Him in heaven.
