The canine ashes to MR. WIGGLES & SUNSHINE, the previous dog to Wigs, was spread over the gravesite 2/24/13, one year & one day to our late son's burial. This could not be done because the exact burial day was on the Jewish sabbath. The mission has been completed! RIP son, SANSPEUR!.

My prayers are with Marilyn, Anthony's mother. May she be well enough to attend her son's April 14th unveiling and may she heal so that she is able to return to her home!

Two weeks ago, Anthony's Mother, Marilyn Siroka Sutherland, was hospitalized at Montefiore North Hospital, Bronx,NY and will be there indefinitely, or for at least several weeks. It remains to be seen if Marilyn will make the unveiling on Sunday, April 14, 2013, but we still plan to be there.Please include her name in your prayers so she can attend. G-d Bless Her!

A Scottish bagpiper will be playing at our late son's unveiling Sunday, 12 noon, April 14, 2013. I plan to be wearing a Scottish kilt myself, out of tribute to the Sutherland name. There is nothing more emotional than to hear the dirges of the single bagpiper! Some of the songs that will be played: Danny Boy, Scotland the Brave, Amazing Grace & two selected by the lonely piper. SANSPEUR!

This morning, Friday, January 11, 2013 Mr. Wiggles was given a wash, had his ears cleaned, nails cut & euthanized at Care First Animal Hospital, North Raleigh, NC. I wanted to show him some dignity before his passing...What a great Basset Hound he was, never complaining about his headaches.In 10 days I will have his ashes, which will be spread over my late son's grave on 2/23, his passing.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year son!This is my first holiday without you!I sure do miss you & your great laughter during the holidays! You got your present from me the day @ Xmas, & on 12/27 was transported to Montefiore Hospital, Bronx, never to return to your apartment...Remember what you asked me in the hospital? Our late son's Basset Hound, Mr. Wiggles, was adopted by me. However, some tragic events have occurred. His left eye was removed for Glaucoma; 3 months ago, has Grade I cancer, which has spread into 2 nostrils. Medical attempts were made to save him, even w/NC School of Vet Medicine. Mr. Wiggles will be put down once his quality of life goes, around 12/24, Cremated ashes to sons grave, RIP

Anthony was loved and admired by friends and family. We will all miss him. My prayers go out to his adoring parents, Marilyn and Terence.

Rod Stewart was his thing... He would ALWAYS play "Some Guys Have All the Luck" for me... Now every time I hear it, it brings back such wonderful memories and conversations with him... 

I miss him... His quirky laugh and the way he was always real. Thanks for sharing him with me!!!

I new ant for 5years he was my best friend and i will miss him dearly but he is always in my heart and my prayers will never forget him.

Today is the 100th day that our son left this mother earth. Not a day goes by that I think of him, & how much I miss him! Sometimes I'll play his favorite song, "Forever Young," by Rod Stewart & the words will cause me to well up & cry. 38 is much too much an early age to check out! Anthony Simpson was a bright, gifted young man. He was also very sensitive, giving and caring, having a 24K heart of gold. I will dearly miss my 38 year old son. Oh how my heart aches for you, son! May you be resting in paradise, in peace w/the lord!

Friends are friends forever.......although you may be gone, you will never be forgotten. Thank you for always being there for me, always willing to listen, to talk, to keep me going. I am so thankful to have had the privilege to call you my friend.
