This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved father, Anthony Theophilus Gbolade Okeowo, 99 years born on June 16, 1912 and passed away on June 8, 2012. We will remember him forever. Papa, you are one in a million,you came, you saw, you affected lives, not only your children but everyone whom you count as your neighbour. You taught us your children about our CREATOR, GOD ALMIGHTY ,to obey HIM is to love HIM. Papa Oyo, as he was popularly called, have been preparing to meet his GOD, for a decade before his passing on to glory, a week before his Centenary Celebration . The Theme of your 90th birthday which is taken from the 2nd Epistle of Paul to Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight of faith, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." have become your frequent utterances. Papa, you preferred being with your HEAVENLY FATHER, than to celebrate your hundred years in this world of sin. You have given us so much memories, and you are now one of our greatest memories. You are UNFORGETTABLE ! We will forever miss your words and deeds. Asleep in JESUS, BLESSED sleep, So sleep on Papa till we meet again at the feet of JESUS.
