Dear Dad,

Times and experiences can really build a man and change his perspectives, just like you always taught us. Your sacrifices and dedication towards building us were far more than the value of the comfort your struggles gave us.

Words become meaningless to express the feeling of your absence. I just can’t cry these tears because they won’t stop flowing if I start. I choose to hold on to the beautiful and funny memories of you and I choose to hold roses in my thoughts this time.

Dear Dad,

Each year without you makes it harder to accept your absence. I wish I could share my successes, fears, plans, thoughts and lots more with you.

17 years is a long time to miss a hero but I know you would want me to be strong for myself and my siblings. I miss you so much. But I’m consoled with the belief that you made peace with God at the last moments and that you are dwelling forever in His bossom.
