When I brought Jessica to meet my Dad he cooked us a meal. He showed us videos of family events, and we went through picture albums. Dad was laughing, and telling stories about my glory days. Dad was bold and he spoke his mind. I never had to wonder where I stood with him. His stature was not the only indicator of his faith. Dad loved God, and God loves him. My wife, children, and I love him and will miss him as well. His voice was like the ocean.
