Happy 68th birthday, Dad! It has been 10 years since you left us. Your granddaughter Anna is 10 this year and in fifth grade. She is growing up quickly. Her body is turning into a little woman. Luckily, her mind is still young so I can enjoy childhood with her a bit more. Leo is enjoying first grade. He has been playing soccer and robotics, and will start playing basketball this week. He is a spitting image of you when you were little. That's what the family tells me. I came home this summer and went to Windmill Pointe. It felt like you were there with us. I imagine that you are looking down upon us and smiling. Thinking of you all the time. Miss you always. Love from Japan, Anthony

I remember all the birthday weekends and get-aways we took on your birthday. When the kids were with sitters and it was just us, we had the best times together.
Now, I try to do things on your birthday to be happy. The last great time was when I saw Paul McCartney on your day and thought of how I really would like to have you here singing with me!

It's hard to believe it's been a year that I lost my friend. Anthony, please know your life gave so many happiness and the knowledge that we can get through so much in our lives with you as an example that we can overcome so much with faith and family for support. Rosalie is ok and living her life well with the support of your family through all. Your grand daughter is just beautiful and sweet as can be. You'd be so proud of her. So Anthony, till I see you again, keep happy and enjoy your time with our Lord. I love you Anthony.

To the Lavigne Family: My heart is just broken with losing my best friend Anthony. You will never understand just how much he meant to me over the years, and just how much he supported me. We didn't talk all that often, but every time we did, it was as though not an hour had passed. He gave me such strength when I needed it most and I will forever miss him. I'll see you when I see you

I pray for the Lavigne Family while mourning the loss of their dear brother Anthony. I felt great joy for them while I heard everyone was able to gather and love and support him and each other during this difficult time. I'm sure all the love you enveloped him with during these past weeks gave his soul flight and set him free. He's with GOD.

To My sister Rosalie and the Lavigne family, what a man we lost. Always gave of himself. Shared his, knowledge, wisdom and some occasional good arguments. He had been through so many medical conditions and still would end up with that smile. When things got tough for me and my 8 children, Rosalie and Anthony would be there no questions ask. He was the definition of Family.

My brother Anthony is the bravest person I have ever known. He faced up to all of life's challenges with true grit and determination and always with a smile. Even with all his many disappointments in life ( heathwise) he was always concerned for others and anxious to help anyone. He left a piece of himself in my heart where it will remain.

My brother Anthony gave me a huge boost growing up as his little brother, 8 years younger. His high expectations of my work at Lombardi's helped me grow into manhood with a higher work ethic. His appeal to logic growing up, in argument, helped sharpen my intellect. His loving smile remains as a constant in my heart and soul forever.
