This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one and my dad, Archie (Dickie) Welch, 74 years old, born on September 6, 1946, and passed away, after a courageous battle with cancer, on July 14, 2021. We will remember him forever and love him beyond that.
Oh my big brother, You are sorely missed. I will always remember your stories. No one could tell them like you. Tell mom and Tomi I said Hi. I can see you laughing with them now.
You were a precious brother and a wonderful friend. You were the light that always shone the brightest when all the brother and sisters got together. We loved with you, we laughed with you, and in the end we cried with you. There will always be only one "Dickie" whether it was brother or Uncle - you could never be replaced.

When I was in 8th or maybe 9th grade, the movie “The Karate Kid” was popular. Dad said something like he had better moves than the karate kid. He balanced on one foot, like the karate kid, and kicked. He didn’t land quite like the karate tho, he slipped on the carpet with his socked feet and landed on his pride.
