His Life
January 23, 2014

Always with a friendly smile, Ariel was pursuing many goals he had envisioned for his life.   Graduating from New College in May 2013 with a BA in Neurobiology (Pre-Medicine), he had the desire to learn, grow and contribute positively to the world.

Ariel actively participated in many activities and organizations including church, mission trips, Jiu Jitsu, and high school tutoring.  He had shared with many about is plan to bicycle from Florida to Alaska and raise charitable funds in honor of one of his former colleagues at Roskamp Institute Myles Mullan. At the Institute he worked collaboratively with many of the science researchers primarily in the genomics lab, but also assisted with behavioral experiments, lipidomics work, and pathology staining.

He went on five mission trips (every summer) to Nicaragua. These involve construction work and camp counseling for kids ages 3-17. In addition, on these trips he also shadowed Dr. Michel Presley in the pursuit of his planned medical profession.
