"Death is a graduation. When we're taught all the things we came to teach, learned all the things we came to learn, then we're allowed to graduate."
"The heavy hands of afflictions squeeze us not to destroy our lives, but to bring the best out of us."
The Bible says in Job 23:10...."but he knoweth the way that I take:when he hath tried me,I shall come forth as gold."

People never die as long as they're remembered.....You'll always be remembered ma

As a kid back in the days running around the office complex of college of medicine Unilag, I can only remember you as a soft spoken elderly Mama that would never even spank anyone of us. You would never even yell at us. You were so graceful... May your soul rest in perfect peace Ma. I’m sure you have been received by the angels.

Seemed like yesterday when I attended her 80th Birthday in the U.K. To underline Mummy’s importance I had to drive 5 hours down from the NorthWest to attend her birthday down south. She was always very welcoming and thoughtful and this is evident in her children.May the good Lord continue to comfort the family and grant Mummy Akinjiyan eternal rest..

A Tribute To Mrs Grace Arinola Akinjiyan by Princess(Mrs) Esther Udo-Utun.

Mommy, you were a Mother indeed to all of us who knew you.
You were fondly called “Mommy Akinjiyan “ by my children, husband and I.
You were a loving, kindhearted and prayerful mother. You prayed for all of us your children who had close contact with you.
A good, friendly and wonderful neighbor, with smiles on your face anytime one came across you in the neighborhood. You took good care of yourself and never missed your daily morning church services and Sunday services.
You were my pillar of strength when I lost my father, with so much support from you.
We will surely miss you dearly!
We pray that the Angels of God will lead you home to your Creator that you served faithfully.
May you join the hosts of Heaven to sing songs of
praises to God.
Rest in perfect peace Mommy!
May God grant us your children the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
May the Light of God shine perpetually on you.

Your death came to me as a great shock because it wasn’t long that you spoke with my wife. You were our mother in Lagos and each conversation with you ends with prayers and I am going to miss that. I am particularly happy that you lived a good life and you have gone to be with the Lord. May your soul Rest In Peace. Amen

My mummy my mummy, sisi Arin, Arin e to yi (Arin speaking), glory be to God our heavenly father for a pleasant and fulfilled life you lived.

You were indeed a mother in Israel, you lived your entire life for God reading the word, praying and practically demonstrating the teachings of God to your Husband, children, siblings, extended family, friends and all your loved ones.

You were consistent in prayer and held on to the word of God during difficult challenges, making decisions and interceding on behalf of all your loved ones. You never compromised God for anything, an exemplary life style to follow by all.

You allowed the light of God shining in you and through you to touch everyone that comes in contact with you.

My mummy my mummy all your support and love shown will never be forgotten, I will forever cherish every moment we spent together.

My mummy my mummy, unique is what you were. Clearly you were indeed a mum in a million (THE BEST).

You will forever be missed particularly always being the first person to reach out by phone call on all special occasions such as birthday, anniversary etc.

Your last saying while you were on your sick bed; which continues to echo and will forever live with me is "E ma gba adura fun n wa o" (pray for us).

My mummy my mummy, Aya Baba La Sun; I know you are resting peacefully in the Lord.

Forever loved, I miss you dearly.

Sun re (sleep well) till we meet again in the blossom of our Lord in Jesus mighty name.
