Memorial Service: Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 2pm at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home, 629 Goldwire Ways SW, Birmingham, AL 35211.

Her Story: Arlene Leonard was born to Mr. & Mrs. Jesse B. and Freddie Mae Leonard on November 6, 1947. Who both proceeded her in death alone with her twin sister Oralene Leonard Williams.Arlene confessed Christ at an early age and united with Mount Olive Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of the late Reverend Edward Gardner.She rededicated her life many years later and united with the Church of God in Christ under the pastoral care of Bishop Peter Wrenn.Arlene later received her certificate of evangelist.

Arlene was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Clifford Killian. She leaves to cherish her memories one son Mr. Anthony James Leonard, one daughter, Ms. Alecia Killian Lewis, one grandson, Mr. Anthony Leonard Jr., three granddaughters, Kanecia Killian, Chrylecia and Breaunna Lewis, two great grandchildren, Aubree and Londyn Killian, all of Birmingham, AL. Also, she leaves two sisters Romella (William) Roberson of Hanford, Ca and Gay Frances Smith of Birmingham, AL, her dearest friend, Vickie Henderson and a host of relatives and friends.

Arlene will be remembered for not only for her loving giving heart but for being a strong God fearing solider for the Lord and all that she could minister and witness too about the Lord. Arlene will be greatly missed on this heavenly earth, but will not be forgotten; as she is rejoicing with the angels in heaven, while awaiting our spirits to meet again.

Rest in Peace, as we knew her, Prophetess Evangelist Arlene Leonard but most of all “Bit”.
