Arline Garrett Kearney, 81 a longtime resident of Stem, N.C. passed away Wednesday, December 4th, 2013.
A native of Granville County the daughter of the late Flunnoy Owen and Mary Newton Garrett. She was of the Baptist faith and was a caregiver in healthcare for many years.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 6th, 2013 in the Royster Family Cemetery in Bullock, N.C. by the Rev. Chris Aho.
Surviving are a daughter Sharon Weary of Stem N.C., a sister, Ruth Garrett Walker of Buffalo Junction, VA, two brothers; Winston Lee Garrett of Bullock, Samuel Lawrence Garrett of Phoenix City, Alabama and her beloved Labrador Dog named Chance. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Ida Mae Beasley, Helen Yancey and a brother Lewis Garrett.
Visitation will be Friday, December 6th, 2013 from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. prior to the graveside at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times the home of Winston Lee Garrett in Bullock.
