I will always remember the many stories "A" would tell on the way to and back from The Masters when I was in the car with him and my Dad. I was just telling on him the other day when I told someone about him having to "check the tires" and you can talk about anyone when you were out of town.

Trips to the Master

October 27, 2013

I remember a number of times the I travelled to Augusta with my Dad and A. The trip was half the fun with all his stories and anedotes. He has coined the phase that Buck when you are out of town, we can talk about anyone. He also seemed to sample just about every sandswich they had in the concession stand each day. And on the way back he would tell my dad at times he needed to stop and check the tires. I also remember a time when we were at the Travelers Insurance hospitality trailer and he had a conversation with Mrs. Hamilton Beech. He told her that his ride in on his bicyle was very lovely. i will miss A but he has left me with a lot of memories. He was so funny and a nice man.
