Since daddy didn't want any boys he was blessed with twice as many grandsons they are Raimond (Eddie), Zachery, Jackson (Jack), Luke, Ezekiel, and Joseph.  I can remember when the third granddaughter was born my dad said "I can now die happy because I have my 3 daughters along with my 3 granddaughters." I cried that night because I was able to give him his 3 granddaughters but God is a God of giving and blessed daddy with one more granddaughter and as he said "Now my cup runneth over."  His 4 granddaughter are  Karissa, Kiana, Maylana, and Lydia.  Daddy loved his grandbabies and all of them new it.  My children to this day love the peppermint candies (the red and white stipes) because daddy made sure he always had some available for them every time he saw them.  What a wonderful Papa he was.

When mom and dad got married and started talking children, my daddy was very clear with God that he did not want any boys.  Well, 3 girls is what God gave him and I think once all three of us began to PMS he began to second guess why he asked God for girls. LOL  But daddy always told us girls that he was just to afraid of what type of boy he would get since he was such a hellion to his mom and knew the bible says something to the effect of what comes around goes around and he did not want a boy like him.  I always wondered which one of us girls gave him the most grief.?.?  Just a thought.
