Arthur "Sonny" Brett, originally of Philadelphia, PA and most recently of Fairborn, OH passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Patricia. Devoted father of David Brett (Jill), Timothy White (Vicki), Bridget Lind (Kevin), and Lawrence White (the late Ginger). Loving Grampy of Olivia, Grayson, Timothy, Ashley, Jackie, Colin, Denise, Lawrence, and James. Great-Grampy of Brayden, AJ, Raelyn, Giovanni, Elijah, Alexa and Josiah. Cherished Uncle of many nieces and nephews including Lyn Flagg (John), Lisa Seraphin, Butch Seraphin, and Spenser Seraphin. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Hortensia Brett, his sister Eleanor Seraphin (James), and nephew Jeff Seraphin.
Sonny lived most of his life in Philadelphia. As he moved to many states, he was always in search of the closest Philadelphia pretzel, hoagie and cheesesteak. Sonny was a passionate sports fan. Especially, a fan of the Phillies and Eagles. Some of his greatest moments were attending sporting events with family.
In honoring Sonny's wishes, no formal funeral will be held.
