"To the family of Art" Our deepst sympathy to your family for your loss. We will miss Art. We met he and Gerry at Wildwood Resort and then we camped with him at
Edgewater Trailer Resort. We each had great visits with him. He indeed was a kind and gentle person, willing to help anyone. We will think of Art anytime we eat blueberries or play a game of 31.

To the family of Art, sorry for your loss. Art was a very kind man. In my woodwork shop I have many pieces of fine wood that Art was so kind to give me for my projects. Each time I use a piece I will think of Art.
RIP my friend.

To Art's family. I am deeply sorry to hear of Art's passing. He was a great neighbor in Birch Bay and always lent a helping hand when needed. He insisted on painting the roof of our shed when my husband was sick. The picture of Art carrying the ladder is very appropriate. We will all miss him in Birch Bay. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Carol Berry

Our friend Art

January 12, 2011

Art would always put a smile on our face when he returned from his trip to the casino. He would get out of his truck with a big smile on his face and do his little dance to let you know that he won a little something. He would always make sure that we had enough firewood for our campfires, because he knew how much we loved to sit around the fire with friends.Jimmy will always remember the many games they watched together hockey&football, even though they were usually routing for the opposite team to win.Sometimes the morning after the game Art would bring a white towel to our trailer for Jimmy to cry into because Jimmys team lost&his won.We all got a good laugh from that including Jimmy. Art was very thoughtful, caring, helpful, funny and a very dear friend. We loved him very much and he will be in our hearts forever.

I had many visits with Art and Gerry while we were campers at Wildwood.  Art kept us well supplied with kindling for our fires as well as wood from his home workshop which I used to make outside tables for a number of friends.  With the passing of Gerry, Art was looked after by his many friends at the lake, many of them made the move with him to their new quarters in Birch Bay.  After the move I only saw Art a few times, this was when he returned to the lake to try to obtain decks etc. for the folks now with him in Birch Bay.  Art was a very kind and generous man, I will miss him.
