Brother Bill Memories of Big Brother Tom

April 22, 2021
Who was Arthur T Ungerbuhler,  Tom was one of my older brothers.  Tom taught me how to drive my first automobile using a stick shift.   Tom taught me the art of shooting pool.  He taught me so well at shooting pool,  that I became the teacher. I will remember those days growing up living near Elder high school,  Tom being his siblings big brother and protector. Most recently I had the pleasure to take Tom on a few business road trips with me across the US.  Tom went with me to Chesapeake Bay in Virginia, Daytona Beach Florida.  Tom hadn’t been to Daytona beach in over 50 years.  He was amazed at all the big buildings that have popped up everywhere.   Tom enjoyed the beach experience so much he took his shoes off rolled up his pants stood in water just looking around.  I have a few photos in the gallery . It was a joy to watch,  I will miss him – I’ll cherish these memories forever.   Tom loved going through the mountains we went through Hawks nest West Virginia. When we were kids going to my aunt’s house in Virginia with mom and dad,  we went back to the Overlooks and took a bunch of pictures of the majestic views.    We visited some of the Gettysburg’s battlefields and national monuments when we had time.  And then covid 19 hit and I couldn’t take him anywhere because of the health risk and concerns.  I will miss him I love you my brother,  I will see you again someday. Rest in Peace.

My Big Brother Tom, The Tom that I knew

April 23, 2021
Tom had a deep bible based religious core, he would send out testaments of faith and conviction of things he found in his studies. I knew he was busy at work usually at 3:30 am when I would be awaken by the dinging of my phone.

In his quest for the truth, he was anxious to share with others what he had just learned. Tom was searching for unconditional love that is only found in God’s love and then wanted to share. Tom had the biggest heart and would give to other unselfishly, almost down too has last penny. Was he the angel testing us?

I knew a soul that loved his family and children very deeply. I knew a soul that wanted the best for others. I knew a soul that was hurt deeply to the core. I knew a soul that cried for peace for all. I knew a soul that loved Jesus the son of God almighty and believed Jesus would return to rule on earth, and take away our sorrows.

I knew a soul my big brother was ready to go home. Be at peace brother you are home, no more hurt, no more pain, no more sorrows. Just Love, Gods Love, Angels Love, heavenly Love. Catch a rainbow, ride a shooting star, visit that crystal city seen in the Hubble telescope.

I love you Tom, I will miss you. I’m glad that you are home though. Rest in Peace.
Love Always Unconditionally

Family Childhood Memories -from Linda

April 22, 2021

Linda is Remembering all the many fun camping trips, trips to Carter Cave, Vacations to Florida and California when we were all growing up. Traveling in a VW Voltswagon Camper Van.

Remember how crowded and scrunch together we were in our station wagon with 8 people.

Loved all the Christian & Gospel songs he would text us all. (many times waking me up in the middle of the night when he would text themout.

I will always remember Tom’s kind gentle heart and how he would joke and try to make us all laugh!
He had lots of silly names for himself and all of us.

Linda, Bob, Bill, & Dale are all very thankful for the love, support .

The family appreciate the many prayers from relatives and friends during Tom’s surgery

The Lord is my Shepherd

April 22, 2021
Psalms 23:4 Context

(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
