Arthurine Shanks Williams, age 82, of Fairfield, died January 10, 2022. She worked for Protective Industrial Insurance and retired as a certified nursing assistant. She graduated early from A. H. Parker High School and attended the North Bessemer Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was the widow of Johnny B. Williams, Sr., and is survived by five daughters, four sons, two sisters, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and other family and friends. The memorial service will be held virtually on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:30 p.m., with Clarence Fortune, Jr. officiating. Lusain Funeral Home is directing.

I love this woman to the moon and back. It is going to be difficult to not be able to wake up and see her smiling face, but it want be long before I can hug my Mom and Dad again in Paradise
