Ashley Marie Ellington Cannady, 29, a native and lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, May 6 th , 2019 at Duke Medical Center in Durham.

Ashley was of the Baptist faith and worked at Walmart and also worked with her special Aunt Bee Bee. She adored her “Dee” and loved hunting and fishing trips with him. She loved Winnie the Pooh, camo and hot pink. Her daughter, Kaitlyn was the love of her life.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford. Burial will be private.

Surviving are her daughter, Katelyn Cannady; her mother, Cindy Renee Ellington; her brother, Ryan Ellington and grandparents, Butch and Wanda Ellington; aunt, Vicky Ellington Twisdale (Bee Bee) great aunt, Doris Evans and boyfriend, T. J. DeClue many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the service at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home of Wanda and Butch Ellington.
