It is with the deepest sorrow that we must
announce our beloved Son, Ashton Neil Singer, has lost his battle with
depression. Ashton, born June 11th 2002 left us all too soon on the
evening of February 13th while attending college in Laramie WY.
Ashton
will be missed every day by his Mother, Ryan Hutton, his father, Ian Singer and
his stepfather, Grant Hutton as well as by Grandparents, extended family and
his many, many great friends.
In his too short time with us, Ashton left a
lasting impression on more people than he could ever realize. For all of us, a
little light has forever gone out of this World.
Always academically gifted, Ashton showed,
from an early age, a real aptitude and desire for sports. While in high school
he bridged this academic and sports divide by playing football and track while
regularly attaining good grades in subjects that the very mention of would make
the best of us run for the hills. Wrestling was his main love however and he
dedicated his last few years in high school to the team and, more importantly,
his team mates.
Ashton was accepted to many colleges but
chose the University of Wyoming to study Chemical Engineering. Like all
students, this past year studying in isolation proved challenging but he had a
plan to overcome even this. Sadly he never had the time.
His potential knew no bounds, you will
be forever missed by all my amazing young man.
A service will take place at Eagle
Brook Church, Spring Lake Park campus, 55432 on Friday 12th March
at 1.30pm.
