Asia,

I'm going to miss you. You and I shared a unique bond that no one can take away. WE BEAT CANCER! Your ability to overcome so many obstacles on a daily basis is nothing short of remarkable. I always looked forward to hearing about your day, milestones, concerns and that blessed make a wish wonderful weekend on Rodeo Dr. That story was amazing. You were are such a breath of fresh air and I pray those who knew you could absorb just a fraction of your strength, courage, will power and tenacity. You are a conqueror and God needed an angel so he dialed your number. Directing traffic in the morning won't be the same.. I'm going to miss seeing that bright smile and momma jammin to her track!

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Please know Asia is loved at school and anywhere she visited. I will continue to pray for your peace and comfort.

Asia,
I want to share your spirit and zest for life that was so evident in your attitude towards life and your illness. Never did I see you complain, feel sorry for yourself, or worry about anything but your family, especially your mother. I will hold our last conversation close to my heart, your warm smile, and the slight frame I embraced so delicately in my arms when you asked for a hug. Thoughts of you will continue to bring me joy and the remembrance of your faces when someone would disrupt our 6th grade class. You will continue to be a bright light in the face of adversity and a shinning example to us all to live life to the fullest and to never give up. You will be missed sweet girl and may the gates of heaven bring you peace. I still have the number you gave me, "just incase" and I will do as you asked; I promise. Love you forever, Mrs. Wormley

To the family,
I am so appreciative that you shared Asia with me. As a first-year teacher, we had fun corresponding via G-mail with assignments and finally in person. I was so inspired to have seen her recently, vibrantly pursuing her education. It does hurt knowing I can't go back and forth with her and her witty one-liners or listen to her vast medical knowledge.(Smile)  Just know that we love you all just as much as we love her.
May God comfort you.

Asia, you were the brightest most beautiful light I have ever seen. It is a blessing that God chose you to befriend my daughter. Even though it hurts I understand God needed his angel to return home. I love you baby girl.
