Aspen Royse passed away on June 9, 2023, at 14 months old, surrounded by his parents/legal guardians John and Jennifer Highley after battling many health issues. Aspen was born in Kettering, Ohio March 15, 2022 to birth parents Alicia Thomas and Jeffrey Royse. Aspen was a very happy little boy that loved to be read to by his sisters. Though his life was very brief, his memory will last forever.
Aspen is survived by his parents/legal guardians, his sisters Riley and Emaleigh Wells, and Lillian and Gracelyn Highley. His grandparents Lori Thompson and Lisa Highley and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. We want to give a special thanks to Dayton Children's Hospital and staff for taking great care of our sweet boy. Viewing and funeral will take place Thursday June 15, 2023 6:30 pm at Pentecostals of Dayton 168 Avondale Dr. Dayton Ohio, 45404. Flowers can be sent or there will be a box for donations for Dayton Children's Hospital in honor of Aspen.
