Mrs. Atheria Pogue Harris was born on December 31,1905 in Tallapoosa County to the
late Eliza and Warren Pogue. On November 17 , 2011, God whispered to Atheria,"You
have fought a good fight and you have won the VICTORY come home and get your
reward."

She confess Christ at an early age and join New Popular Springs Missionary
Baptist Church where she remain until her health failed.

She united in Holy Matrimony
with Theodore (Jack) Harris and to this union eight (8) children were born. She was
preceded in death by her husband and two sons,William D. Harris and Phillip Harris,
six (6) grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her
unforgettable memories: six(6) daughters: Roberta Jennings, Annie P Russell,
Eula Spruill, Mable Burns, Annie R. Fitch and Pearl Burns, all of Dadeville, AL. Forty
two (42) grandchildren, ninety-five(95) great grandchildren, ninety-one (91)
great-great grandchildren and fifteen (15) great-great-great grandchildren.

After
rearing her children, she raised several grandchildren:Dorothy Johnson, Terry
(La'Kesha) Harris, Calvin(Melinda) Harris and Michael (Sharon) Harris, all
of Dadeville, AL; Ronnie (Stacy) Hanis of LaFayette, AL. Three daughters-in-law:
Gracie Harris and Robbie M,Harris, both of Dadeville, AL; Mary Harris of Dayton,
OH. One brother-in-law, Raymond (Jimmy Doris) Harris of Detroit, MI. A host of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
