My dear mother passed away this morning on the 7th anniversary of Audreys passing. I’m glad Audrey and my husband Alexi were there to greet her. Miss you everyday Audrey.
This memorial website was created to share stories, pictures and ancedotes about our dear Audrey who left us way too soon. She touched the hearts and lives of so many people in so many ways. There have been many anecdotes this past week about her countless acts of kindness and compassion to everyone she met.
Please share your memories and stories with her friends and family so that we can help each other to move forward, as she would want us to do....And maybe perform a random act of kindness in her name. :))
There will be a Celebration of Life on September 28th at the Clubhouse at Creekside Village, 159 Avenida Barbera, Sonoma, CA 95476 from 2-4:00pm..

Dear Audrey, we were with your family this week, visiting your beautiful sister in her hospital room at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno. We thought of you and will continue to pray for the repose of your soul.

My sister Audrey always thought of others first. I think about her every day and the fun times we had. She was the best Auntie Audie to our children and others. She continues to be a star in our life and she will be forever missed by many.

My Aunt Audie, as we called her, had a zest for life. At a time in my life when I needed some help, I called her to ask for her opinion and wisdom. She didn't offer to help, she took charge which was exactly what I needed and she knew it. If all of us could do for others what Audrey did, this world would be a better place. Grandma Hilda and God will be embracing you in heaven Audrey.

Ron and I think the world of Audrey. She was an outstanding professional and a great friend to many. We loved spending time with her during her years in Reno and are so grateful that we were able to be with her shortly before her passing. She touched so many lives in such meaningful ways...she will be greatly missed.

Barb and I met Audrey less than a year ago --- drinking her favorite Chardonnay at Ram's Gate! Lucky us. And this past July we met several of her local friends (and siblings) at her home. Again, lucky us. We can only imagine the shock of this loss to friends and family. Our thoughts are with all of you as we celebrate the JOY of Audrey!

Audrey worked running the office at Northern Nevada Plastic Surgery with my now deceased husband George. She did a fantastic job. I also took a weekend llama backpacking trip with her around Georgetown, Ca. and we had a great time. I haven't seen her for many years but was keeping current through friends. I'm very sad that one so young and vital has passed from this earth.

When Jim and I moved to Reno and I was looking for a job, Audrey was instrumental in getting my resume out to people who she knew in the medical community. Thanks to her and her network, I found a job that I loved. But it didn't end there - she was there to share her knowledge with someone who had much to learn. I am forever grateful for her generosity! She was a very special person.

Even though we did not see Audrey as much as we would have liked, we considered her part of our family and she will be missed. Audrey was a loving and caring person who always thought of others needs before her own. She had a smile and a laugh that would light up a room. So many memories growing up with my sister. She was a year and 10 months older. Our Mom used to dress us alike in white starched pinafores - We became very close sisters. She confided in me and respected my point of view. A couple of weeks ago, she wanted to go on a "zip line". Guess that was on her bucket list. I called her the next day. She said she came to her senses. I loved her.

Audrey was a new friend of mine in Creekside. I truly admired and loved her realism and zest for life. She is missed and taught of daily. My condolences to her family and friends. May her memory be a blessing to all that knew her.

I didn't know Audrey long, perhaps a year. I found her delightful to work with and will surely miss her. She left us much too soon.
