ForeverMissed

This memorial was created in memory of our loved one, Axel Rose, 8 years old, born on December 22, 2012, and passed away due to cancer on April 29, 2021. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Axel could not have a proper Hindu burial.

Axel, affectionately known as Big Boy, was the adopted son of Angel Anderson. He never had any mates, children, nor was he part of any dog clubs. Axel is survived by his sisters Ladybird Toona Mittens (11), Beleti-Nightshade Ravenwolf Mittens (7), and Aiko-Kokoro Rose (5) and his brother Buttercup Jackson (12). He is also survived by both his mother and maternal grandmother. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family decided against an in-person memorial and encourage those who wish to pay respects to light a white candle in honour of Axel and pray that he transition safely across Rainbow Bridge. The family also encourages them to share their happiest and funniest memories of Axel here.

Happy birthday baby boy. I know you eating all the chimken nuggies and burgers up there right now for your birthday feast. Your TT misses your aggressive requests for lovies and your eyes full of so much personality, it was as if you had been here before. Come back to us again and we’ll love you just as much.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Axel in person I will fondly remember all the times I've seen him on video chat. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved him. May you cross the Rainbow Bridge safely Axel.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Axel but I saw all the posts and know that his momma loved him dearly! Rest in peace Axel and say hi to all those Anderson furry cousins up there ☁️

Axel was such a loving boy that liked to play. The last time I saw him, I was playing with him and got him riled up too much, so he peed all over my book bag. Me and Angel laughed so hard and he looked so guilty. Thank you for being such a bright spot in the world, Axel. You will be so very missed, bubba.

His Life

Adoption

April 30, 2021
Axel was brought home from the MDSPCA when he was 3 months old. His mother refers to meeting him as "love at first sight". Axel was carried home from the shelter in her arms. He couldn't touch the ground as he had no puppy shots.

He was taken to a loving and rare furever home in Baltimore City. He moved twice, living in both Howard and Baltimore Counties. Not being good with other dogs, he made no dog friends, just cat ones.

Meeting Ladybird

April 30, 2021
Axel adored his sister Ladybird from the first meeting. It took Ladybird a while to warm up to Axel's energetic and rambunctious personality as well as his size. After Ladybird realised Axel wasn't leaving or going anywhere anytime soon, she made a plan to tolerate him. A few years later, she began to like him a little. Just a little.

Having an Aunt Dy'sha

April 30, 2021
Axel's Aunt Dy'sha loved him dearly. She was the first aunt he ever knew. Axel was never short on love, kisses, and affection when she was present. Axel's Aunt Dy'sha held him in high regard and often used her love of animals to supplement the spoiling he already recieved from his mother.
