Your smile, your memories are what is left for us to remember you. You lived your life well and your legacy lives on. I wish you were here to see the feats we have achieved but we know you watch us from above and you are smiling at us. We love you daddy

Eleven years on

Dad, on Friday 13th October, my Boss said she just noticed I dress well. She asked if it had been like this or she was just knowing. Then I mentioned you. I told her I took after my Dad. He was a great dresser. May God rest your soul.
We all took after your ability to dress well and look good. No, you never tried to impress people with your dress sense, it just innate, as it is with your kids now. Abisola dresses well, Folasade, Opemipo and I. Your grandkids are following your steps now. We noticed how Ruth and Citadel always want to look fine, then IkeJesu and the rest of the boys too. Thank you Dad for imbibing this culture of trying to look our best in us. We love daddy. Keep resting.
Yes I forgot to tell you that I got a Job at international level. You would have been so proud of me if you were here. Dad we miss you so much. Mom is doing fine but she needs a car for mobility. We are yet to get her one. We are looking up to God for more blessings so she could be mobile and attend church services regularly. Bye for now daddy. Thank You Lord God for another opportunity to celebrate our dad this year again. No one is missing. We are all in good health. Thank You Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

It's Christmas without Grandpa. When we were little, Dad would take us out to Amusement Park, we went to see Santa Claus, went shopping and all. Now it seems so boring without you Dad.
Continue to rest in perfect peace Daddy

First time illness

December 12, 2019
I recall vividly in April, 2012 that myself and my husband visited my dad's house to spend the night in preparation for an Aunt's birthday and retirement celebration. At 12 midnight dad woke up startled. He had a nightmare. He started to puke and was sweating profusely. He couldn't speak immediately. Mom wasn't home, she had left the previous day for her Sister's house. I called her on phone to let her know the situation. She advised we take dad to the hospital.
Dad got better and was discharged 2days later. We continued with our lives till in October 14 when I heard the sad news of dad's demise. Dad had slumped at church. He was brought in dead to hospital.
Daddy, you lived a fulfilling life. You were kind and helpful.
Years after your death Dad, we are battling court case because some people who are oblivious of how you and Mom struggled together to acquire your properties want to have a share in it.
We haven't laid a headstone on your grave Dad due to insufficient funds but hopefully I pray we do that in 2020 by God's grace.
You mean so much to us. I pray that you continue to rest in perfect peace Daddy. Your daughter and your other kids and your grandkids miss you. Mom keeps regretting why you had to leave the time you did. She misses you everyday. You are forever in our hearts Dad. God bless your soul
