I do not know you until the day of your memorial service @ 9.45am June 14th and I thought you were so young, full of life, vibrant and looking forward to your wedding in Sept 2012. You lost your life going to a friend's wedding in Abuja and I went to Abuja in April 2012 and returned to UK and how I wished you had returned safely home to your mum and family. God knows best and sleep well.

I have put off doing this, avoided coming here. Couldn't deal with it; with saying bye to you. We had a memorial for you today and that has somehow given me the strength to do this. You were an amazing woman; one with a permanent smile on her face. Listening to people talk about you, I only wish i got to know you better. Will miss seeing you on the dance floor. RIP Ayoola.

I have tried to avoid writing a tribute as it has been so unreal to me. Ayoola-I have wrestled with my mind on why you had to leave us this way but God alone knows best. I keep recollecting one of our last conversations in my head. You were always so full of life and wanting to make an impact to society. You definitely made that impact and I thank God for your life. RIP dear friend.

All my life, you've been a staple. It still doesn't make sense but I trust that you are where you belong. You were too good for this place. I'll miss you.

Conquer evil with good

June 12, 2012
Sweet sweet Ayoola, I remember when you shared with us in prayers on conquering evil with good... as we all discussed those little foxes that were our weaknesses, you challenged us to higher levels of continuously seeking to do good and thinking good of people...thanks for that unshakeable impression which you have left all of us with...for each time I am tempted to walk away from someone in need...I would remember you edging us on to do good ..thanks for leaving that indellible mark on my life, thanks for sharing your life with me, no matter how short....you were an angel here on earth, and we had you only on borrowed time,...now you have returned to your rightful place in the arms of God,.. Sleep well my sister till we meet to part no more...all my love Ijay

jack and jill are growing

June 11, 2012

got a bb message, ''puppies for sale'' i called and rushed over to get my pick. There  she was in her eloquent welcoming and warm smile, saying; thanks for coming, actually some other people had indicated interest, but you seem very excited, do you have dogs? she asks, yes! i said, a german shepard too. ok, will let you make your choice . i want two of the three puupies, i told her and she goes ok. but i dont have enough money on can i quickly use the nearest atm? ONCE AGAIN IN A VERY SIMPLE SMILE, OK.

Mrs Ayoola, as i stored your name thinking you were married, i named the puppies JACK and JILL even though they were both females. Mrs Ayoola, thanks for jack and jill, as you can see they are growing well and Kwasu, the vet doc you introduced still comes once in a while to check on them. needless to say i have a vivid memory of you living with me. Thanks for the puppies. May your gentle soul rest in peace.
