Dr Oluwabunmi Ayodele Elizabeth Tapere

Oluwabunmi Tapere was born in London, United Kingdom on the 7th of April 1983. She was the last child of Elder Isaac Sunday and Deaconess (Mrs) Florence Tapere.

Oluwabunmi started her early education at Little Saint Montessori, Ilupeju, Lagos where she came first at every examination and got a double promotion; she was the overall best student and obtained a scholarship for her primary education at the school.

Oluwabunmi’s secondary education started at Federal Gov’t College, Odogbolu, Ogun State but went on to further her education in the United States of America in 1995 at Union Catholic School, Scotch Plains, New Jersey where she graduated in 1998 with outstanding results.

She proceeded to college at the young age of 15 at Rutgers University, New Jersey and graduated with BS of Arts in BioMathematics with double honours at the age of 18.

Oluwabunmi explored the world of business setting up and running different businesses. In addition, she worked at several pharmaceutical companies and the extensive exposure to the world of pharmacy led her to obtaining a Masters in Public Health (MPH) at Still University, Kirksville, Missouri.

Even though Oluwabunmi had started experiencing some physical challenge at this stage, being a great achiever, She decided to pursue a degree in medicine at Windsor University School of Medicine, Monet, Illinois. Part of her studies included travelling to different countries, which she loved. She studied at Nevis and saint Ket island in South America for 2 years followed by a 6 months Housemanship in Birmingham teaching hospital in the United Kingdom. She graduated with a MD in general medicine in 2012 in Chicago, Illinois.

Oluwabunmi was a devoted Christian and a youth leader at her church, Holy Ghost Christian centre, New Jersey. She relocated to Nigeria in 2014 to set up an online business "MyLuxe Deals". Despite her prevailing physical challenge, Oluwabunmi remained courageous and continued to yearn for success in everything she did. She remained a source of joy to her family & friends and always smiling even to the very end.
