Her Life

Bacchi, A great soul.

November 17, 2017

She was born in a suburban village near Mokama, Bihar India in a well off family.

Unfortunately when she was around 5 years old her mother(My material grad ma) had been died. She was raised by her maternal family  living 100km away in a village. She told us lots stories of her childhood. Since her maternal family and my maternal family believes in giving education to all her kids irrespective of boys or girls, She might got that instinct from them. As she told us at that time giving education to girls a common social practice. When she married her first child ( my eldest sister) is a girl. When third child born a girl( my third sister), She was decided to join a government job. She must have convinced everyone to get a job. At time it's easy to get govt teacher hob for girl if she is a high school graduate. At that time it was a social stigma to not have a son. After 8 girls we tow sons were born. I am the youngest one.

I have never thought of that one day my mother will leave me. My father died in 2011.

He was also a great soul. He was a very honest in his government job. Most of the family's decisions my mother took. She knows what she can achieve with resources she had and ensured all my sisters complete high school graduation and apply got govt job.My 6 of teachers are govt teachers. My mother and father both are very generous to support poor families whatever they can.

She is very focused in her family goal.

Still I miss her almost every day. My tribute to my Mother, Bacchi a great soul.
