Do birthdays even matter where you are at Jesus' side?? Or, is the day you go to be with Him remembered each year??? Regardless, I wish you a happy remembrance of the day of your earthly birth, Sweet Friend. You are missed, remembered and well-loved.

Bible study has resumed and every time I look at the seat Barb filled every Wednesday morning, I feel her absence, but I KNOW she is at the feet of her King, Jesus. Miss you, Barb!!

What a precious lady in my life, who's hugs I will miss at Wednesday morning Bible Studies! The light of Jesus shined through her beautiful smile; even through her pain! She was/still is an inspiration of how to live God's Word; Galatians 6:6-10! I came to know her even more through the beautiful tribute given at her 'celebration service', by family and friends! I thank our Lord for the little time I shared with Barbara! God bless her family and friends!

There will be an empty place at Bible study on Wednesday mornings - Barb always sat in the same seat week after week and she will be so missed when I glance to my left and remember she is with Jesus, her Savior and King. "I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see Him with my own eyes ..." Job 19:25-27

Barbara was a wonderful friend. When it came to cancer she was LIVESTRONG amazing. I miss our phone chats already.  ...their
passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. Wisdom 3.2-3

From 1988 dear Barb took me under her wing. She always was my go to person for all my questions about international flying, business advice, insurance issues and especially union concerns. I loved her from the first moment I met her and always will.Thank you ,Barb, for for your generous spirit and grit! I miss you. Ingrid

Remembering

October 13, 2023
Just yesterday I was remembering with Christian how Grammie came to everything for the kids. Book fair? She’s be there with her credit card ready to buy books for the kids. Performances? With bells on. Such an amazing grandma to my kids showing so much unconditional love. We still miss her so often and feel the loss. Celebrating her and the example of love she was to me.

The flight attendant and the gate agent

November 2, 2017

I first met Barbara in December of 1980 in Honolulu at the gate upon arrival of her flight from San Francisco. Thus began a true friendship and it became so wonderful as the years went on. No matter where she lived, where she flew her trips to, we had such fun when we could get together.
She was an amazing woman, her courage in fighting any illness (and beating it!),
her love for her family and friends, her faith, were beautiful to behold.
Her inner strength to overcome any obstacles was a testament to her nature.

Train Home to Tokyo

October 30, 2017

Circa 1987. On layover in Japan, we took a train to Tokyo. Yasu Hirayu, Faith Ann McMahon, Barb, and some Japanese guy who was less than thrilled to be sitting next to the loud "gaijin."
