Barbara,
My dear friend, We were no more than teenagers when we met, so different back then. You were so quiet and shy I never thought I would really get to know who you were. But slowly time changed that. And regardless how many years went by, when life kept throwing us curve balls, we would always come back together. We spoke of the joys and challenges, vented our sorrows but the one constant was always how dear our families were to us. Now I do not believe in coincidence but I do believe we were meant to be there for one another in this life. You were quite the warrior my friend, persevering thru your difficulties, rising to the occasion and showing us how it is done. But
this time, your wings were ready when our hearts were not. I hope you knew just how much you were loved. Shine on like the diamond you are.
~ Dianne

Her Life

Best Mom

May 24, 2020
Barbara was the best mom anyone could ask for.  Growing up my brothers and I never had a want.  My mom would make sure we could get it.  Whether it be the newest pair of shoes or action figure my mom went out of her way go bring joy to my family.  Growing up my mom would also sacrifice alot of her free time for me.   When I played baseball growing up my mom would bring me to my travel games.  Many weeknights and weekends consisted of bringing me to games but she never complained once.  I apperciated all of her sacrifices she made for my family and I growing up.

Later in life my mom helped out being the babysitter for her grandchildrens 3 days a week.    Even though she was getting order and couldn't get around that well, she would never look to miss a day.  I'm thankful for all the sacrifices she made for our family, and will look to make sure her grandchildren remember her.
