This gorgeous single white rose on blue background is my favorite of her paintings. I have it hanging in my sewing room where it inspires me daily. She painted this piece in 2006 and was recognized in her community's newsletter for it.

Mom and Dad don't look happy in this photo because they were moving from their home in California to a new home in Arizona. They were looking forward to retirement in picturesque Arizona but they knew they would be missing us here in California. We visited them frequently during the 6 years they lived there. But when their health declined they moved back to be near us again.
