Leave a tributeI hope you are and I hope you are praying for me and my special intentions. I think of you all the time. I miss you and wish I could share all the things I’ve done over the past few years. The hard times and the great times. I wish we could go to Hawaii together. You loved your time there.
Love and miss you.
Pray for me from where you are! Pray that all my prayers be answered.

You worked really hard, you made a huge contribution to your community, you loved deeply, and you readily channeled humor to those around you. Way to go!
Thanks for your caring, input and support.
Barb, Wherever you are you will always be in my heart.
Barb was very, very funny, and even more generous with local causes. Barb had a great sense of humor, and she loved to laugh. Her love of reality TV shows was always a topic of conversation, especially SURVIVOR! Barb was one of the most generous people I’ve encountered. Her support of the Alliance’s United Way Employee Giving Campaign never wavered. She was also a leader in our Food Drives. Over the years she gave thousands of dollars to these causes.
I have a collection of personalized Christmas ornaments from Hammond Glass, which she gave to her coworkers each year. They’ll always have a special meaning.
Barb and I “competed” over who had the cutest dog, and I was sad for her when I learned that her little Andy had passed. I hope they are now together.
After years of serving your community Barb, now it’s time to rest. Like the dolphins you so loved, you were joyful, compassionate and very, very entertaining.

Barb and I were the two nurse dynamic- duo that did hospital review, UR patient case presentations, reviewed every authorization request, [ think we data entered them as well ] talked with members on the phone, made visits to providers offices, etc.. We certainly were a great team.
With time and expansion into Monterrey Country, the department grew in number of staff, new positions were created, responsibilities increased, there were more State obligations put upon the organization which included frequent visits from them and HEDIS – oh how we loved those HEDIS weekends
All the time our department grew, Barb was the driving force to keep things going forward.
She was a great leader and friend.
Your time was too short on this earth.
Barb had a great sense of humor to go along with her compassionate and caring qualities. Her sense of humor was unexpected at times but helped you remember that you can do serious work and still laugh. Something to remember.
Barb and I had some adventurous moments that I will share. A Bat in the Encinal office while auditors were visiting (yes, a real bat) also an earthquake in King City while at a provider in service, we were upstairs. Let’s just say that not all people like earthquakes equally.
I had the opportunity to spend some quality time with Barb in Merced, I wished we had had the time in SV too. Just always seemed like there was no time but there would always be time.
Barb loved her little dog Andy. She spoke of him often and with such love.
Although I did not keep in touch with Barb after retirement, I thought of her often.
I will remember all the laughs we had when it gets tough.
may you rest peacefully, Barb
