Barb, When I married your brother Jim you were a bonus my sister-law. We had lots of fun playing Bingo and shopping. You fought a hard battle. I know you were tired of the fight and your resting in peace now free of pain. You will be missed and thank God I got to know you as my sister-in-law. You had many good times and many disappointments, but you kept pushing ahead. Prayers for your sons and the family. Rest In Peace Barbara.

Barb and I shared a lifetime of laughs, tears, good times and bad times. As teenagers we shopped the malls and shared ice cream, drive-in-movies and laughs. I drove Barb to take her drivers license test back in 19....! Barb stood up with me as I married her brother, Rick in 1968. Barb adored our daughter, Tonya and wanted to keep her every weekend. We rejoiced both times she became a mother when her boys, Brian and Nick came along.
In our later years she visited us in Texas and we took in the tourist sights, including traveling to a casino, playing bingo and even going to line dancing classes. (Ps, we both failed at that, but Barb was much better at it than me. Haha) We "sailed the seas" together and sunned on the tropical beaches. So many good memories come to mind as I think of all the memories we shared. So long for now, my sister(in-law). We will meet again!

Oh mom, words will never do any level of justice to how much I love you. The care and compassion you showed me my entire life, is a special love that not too many people ever get the privilege to receive. You are the most beautiful person I have ever had the honor to know, inside and out. You taught me so many important things, and some you weren't ever even aware of. To me, you are the definition of strength, you fought many hardships, but noone would have known if you didn't tell them yourself, you had a magical way of never backing down from anything in your way, and to top it all off no matter the circumstances you would do it with a smile. Your spirit carries on in me, Emily, Brian , and all the grandkids. I hope you can get the peace that you have more than earned and finally can get the rest you so desperately needed. I would never be the man I am today without you, and I can't thankyou enough for everything you have ever done for me. I love you so, so much mom. ❤️
