Mrs. Barbara L. Kirksey, 52 went to the arms of her Heavenly Father April13, 2012 at Trinity Hospital in Birmingham, AL.

Barbara Kirksey was born to Esther L. Kelly of Alexander City, AL and the late Edgar Hill on April 20, 1959 in Coosa County.

She confessed  Christ  at an early age at her local community church. She enjoyed attending church in Alexander City, AL. She graduated from Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, AL. She was a delightful, loving and caring, devoted mother. She enjoyed outdoors, barbeques, dancing and caring for the elderly.

She married Ricky Kirksey on May 20, 1980.

She is survived by her children: Octavious, Donnie and Ricketha of Alexander City, AL. Their father, Ricky Kirksey of Sylacauga, AL. A loving and devoted mother, Esther Kelly of Alexander City, AL. Devoted sisters: Sarah Marbury of Alexander City, AL. Lois (Mack) Tuck of Augusta, GA. Rosie (Homer) Hamilton of Sylacauga, AL; Bessie (Arthur) Malone of Alexander City, AL. One brother, Austin(Emma) Hill of Alexander City, AL. Special nieces: Miranda Mitchell of Dallas, TX; Tabathy Holley of Goodwater, AL; Tasha Holley of Atlanta, GA and Lanette Tuck of Wetumpka, AL. Two sisters-inlaw: Ms. Betty Burton of Alexander City, AL and Ms. Ruth Burton of Goodwater, AL. Special in-laws, The Kirksey family of Wilsonville, AL, Sylacauga, AL and North Dakota. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her dad, Edgar Hill. Brothers: Edgar Hill, Jr. and Dennis Hill. A devoted nephew, Derek Holley.
