Grandma.. How I miss you so terribly. I look at your picture every single day. We all miss you more than words can explain.
I had a dream early this morning that we were having a birthday party for you.. only a day away from your actual birthday. Everyone was here, and I saw you walk up our driveway, & I got to give you a hug. December 7th is a beautiful day. I love you & miss you, so so so much. One of the sweetest human beings to ever walk this earth. <3  I miss your hugs & I miss your laugh so much too. Love You Always & Forever <3 Thinking of you so much. Love, Sweet Pea xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxooooo

You are a hero in my life, today i look back and i can not imagine my life without the light you first lit in it, you gave me together with all the MGEF girls an opportunity to believe in ourselves through you believing in us. Today i still remember the last words i heard from you.....that we shouldnt allow ourselves to be just good if we can be great......your memory of great works will always stay in my heart and i believe you gave me wings to flap from my community and reach the horizons of the world and with that opportunity given to me...... i pray to use it just as much has been given to me...to give much to others. Thank You for having been a great hero in the life of many.
i miss you big.

My Auntie was NO.1 in our family. She had a way that she could make u laugh with no words. It was her shirts; she always had something cleaver+funny, but that wasn't the half of it. SHE WAS "VERY VERY" SPECIAL! SHE HAD MORE LOVE IN HER HEART ESPECIALLY FOR HER FAMILY. I will always picture her up there with the family we've lost down here. Its life changing, nothing will be the same. My heart is broken.  I LOVE ALL OF U GUYS XOXO  Davette Shaw  November 11, 2013

Remembering Our Days In The Sun

November 4, 2016

Mom,
If I could have those days in the sun with you again, what I wouldn't give. I watched your skin turn the most beautiful brown as the hours slipped away, as we chatted away enjoying those unforgettable days at the beach and around the pool. You were my friend, my heart and soul, my dear sweet mother that I carry with me in spirit and now when I drive. With Love from your DDD

Happy Birthday Mom

December 7, 2014

We want to thank you for the
       little things
    that you so often do,
And for the special loveliness
that's such a part of you..
To tell you that you're loved
    much more
then words
         could say...

It's a special kind of love we share
      today and everyday.

With Love Always,

       Jolene and Steven
               &

Birthday Toast

July 30, 2014

Jolene,

This is a little toast I would love to make as we share this special celebration.

On June 6, 1944 the Allied Forces landed on the beaches of Normandy now remembered as D-Day.

Eleven years later on June 6, 1955 I had my own D-Day (Delivery Day.) A tiny baby girl landed and captured my heart and will always remain there.

And now forty years later we are truly blessed to be able to celebrate together that day of birth.

Love Mom
