I am from Ottawa Canada. My partner Vic and I bought a house from Russel and Barbara in Port Charlotte FL. in 1990. We became friends almost immediately. Barbara and Russ finally built a house in the lot next to us and Barbara and I spent most of our days together decorating some of the model houses they had built. Barbara was like a sister to me. She and Russ would drive to our home in Canada and we would always go fishing, play cards and just have the most memorable times together. We both loved animals. We had two cats and they had wo cats. She was truly always there as a faithful friend, to help or support and console you in need. As the years past, I knew that she was very ill, and keep in contact with her until her niece brought her to New Hampshire two years ago. From that time on, I didn't have any news about her wellbeing.
I only discovered about her death today,Jan.12,2021.
I will truly miss my friend and hearing her voice over the phone.
I know you are with the angles in heaven, because you were a angel on earth.

Barbara My Friend
I met my friend 15 yrs ago, we had both lost our husbands a few months apart. She was their for me and I for her. Together for formed a beautiful friendship that i will forever hold close to my heart. Barbara loved people, she was so giving of herself, anyone needed something she went running to help. i remember all the good times we shared like, swimming in the pool at 5pm each night, bike rides around the park and just sharing stories of each others life and family. I miss her each day but so greatful we got to met.

Barbara will be remembered with a smile on her face, her pressed and creased jeans with the white shirt. Hair always done very nicely, her earrings, blue fingers, which we always compared. Nothing but the fondest of memories of Barb.

I will miss everything about my Aunt Barb. She was more than an aunt. She was another mother and best friend. I will miss the kayaking down the Weeki Wachee, walks on the beaches and many more of the things she enjoyed doing with me. Most of all I will miss her hugs and kisses. The next time I have my coffee on the beach I know she will still be sitting beside me waiting for the dolphins to swim by. I love you Aunt Barb.

Lots of thoughts, but not the words to express our sorrow of Aunts Barbs passing.Always a highlight seeing her at the family reunion. When Ma and Dad were alive, hearing from them of her visits to them. Our paths didn't cross very often, but when they did it was always wonderful.
