In that way, through her daughter, Cathy, I can feel Barbara's loving ways, her generosity, her thoughtfulness, and her loyalty to family and friends. I didn't have the opportunity to know Barbara, but it is said that a person's legacy is their family. In that way, through her daughter, Cathy, I can feel Barbara's loving ways, her generosity, her thoughtfulness, and her loyalty to family and friends. Obituary - Barbara Ann Riehl

Barbara Ann Riehl, 86, of Port Huron, died Thursday, April 22, 2021.

She was born September 2, 1934 in Port Huron to the late Albert and Annuniziata Borowski. She married Henry “Hank” Riehl on August 18, 1956 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1992 after 35 years of marriage.

Barbara enjoyed playing bingo and cards and sending birthday cards to everyone she knew. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by a son, Stephen (Sue) Riehl; four daughters, Catherine (Greg) Young, Mary Gossman, Theresa Convis and Tina (Michael) Maillet; seven grandchildren, Joshua Riehl, Jennifer Bocek, Kristin (Cody) Arnold, Andrew Gossman, Christopher (Melissa) Gossman, Matthew Convis (Breha Huelga), Myles Maillet, Nicholas Maillet and Carlee Young; sister-in-law Marille Riehl; great grandchildren, Jase Bocek, Juliana Bocek, Owen Arnold, Olivia Arnold, and one to be born soon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynette Riehl on January 2, 1989; one brother; and two sisters.
